It was only 22 degrees this morning... The air felt like ice!!!  Our hike was Stop Sign which is 4.3 miles uphill with an increase in elevation of over 1000’.  I was able to make the climb in 62 minutes.  This was the same time I made it up in during my first week here, however, I was able to continue the climb without stopping which was a major improvement over the first week.  It was so cold that one person in our group had sweat on his shirt and it was frosted over by the time he made it up to the Stop Sign. Several others had their Camel Back water freeze by the end of the hike!

When I got back from the hike, I did Strength Circuit which is spending 2 minutes on each Strength/Weight machine and then switching until we have hit all of them.  After lunch and Gym Class, it was on to the Total Toning class.  In this class we have two different sets of weights (one lighter set and one heavier set – all above 3 lbs.) and a weight bar.  We do everything from bicep curls to squats and lunges.  We alternate between arms and legs throughout the class and then hit the back and core at the end.  Cardio Intervals was next.  Because my calf is still bothering me, I was not able to run as I normally would.  Instead I continued with the brisk walk with increasing incline.  I did some additional cardio after this class was finished.

After dinner, we had a Life Coaching Session where we talked to someone here as a group about how to deal with various issues we may face when we go home and how to overcome them.  It was very informative and interesting.  When this class was over, I had to watch The Biggest Loser – Marathon Episode.  I was so happy that Ramone won the marathon.  Next week is the Finale…. I really hope Ramone wins it all!
