Today the weather did not want to cooperate with us once again.  We left for our hike to White Rocks and it was drizzling rain.  It let up for maybe 20 minutes or so but started up again.  As we started climbing, the rain quickly turned to snow.  We had cheap rain parkas/bags but they didn’t help too much.  I was wet, super cold, and sniffling the whole time.  Here’s hoping I don’t get sick. 
Today was another difficult day for me overall.  My drive and motivation just aren’t what I would want them to be.  I miss being home.  I miss my family.  My body and mind are exhausted.  But having said this, I still know I can gain a lot from being here for another 2 weeks.  I am glad the weekend is almost here so that I can lay low and relax for a day and a half.  I am hoping that will rejuvenate me and get my mind and body back on the path I need them to be.  Having said all of this though, I still burnt more than 4200 calories today!
