Our hiking group is a lot of fun.  Today we went on a hike that was challenging.  It was approximately 5 miles long and had "stairs", inclines, and rocky terrain.  I was sore before we started hiking, but I felt better as I got moving.  The steep elevations cause me to lose my breath so quickly.  Once I stop for a few seconds and catch my breath I can keep on going.  I always try to stay at the front of the group... guess it is because of my competitive nature.  :)
When we got back I had Kickboxing for my first afternoon exercise class.  It kicked my butt!  It was an extremely intense workout for both my arms and my legs.  The next class is called Mountain which is steadily increasing your speed, resistance/elevation, or both on the treadmill (or other cardio machine) for 45 minutes straight.  By the end of the class, you are out of breath and still having to sprint for what seems like forever!  The H2O Circuit class involved going to different stations in the pool that had different exercises at each station.  It is amazing how much the resistance in the water can work your muscles.  Just holding on the side of the wall and kicking for several minutes is enough to cramp your muscles into knots!  I was so glad when this class was over.
I have been pushing myself very hard during our hikes and workouts.... It is so rewarding to have both staff and individual guests praise and envy my dedication and hard work!!! It keeps driving me to keep giving 110%.  (I was even compared to a mountain goat because I could go anywhere on the mountain very quickly – LOL.)

I was able to get a massage tonight and I can honestly say that I have never deserved a massage as much as I deserve this one! :). My muscles were aching and so stiff.
